Hello there and welcome to Nitrix RolePlay,
In order to ensure RolePlay quality we have made a list of specific guidelines for the server to follow to ensure the quality of the RolePlay and to give it a proper value and worth without misunderstandings and a clear set of rules to follow during the RolePlay for the best experience.
1) RolePlaying rules
This is the largest part of the WW2rp guidelines, which covers all RolePlay rules
a) No metagaming
Metagaming is using knowledge you have learnt out of character, so not in the RolePlay world.
If a steam friend tells you he got killed by John, that you go up to John and kill him. That is metagaming, you can't do it, you have to find out John killed your friend in-character, in the server, and not through OOC chat.
b) No RDM
RDMing is random death match, don't kill your friendly players, don't start S2King without warning or shoot people for fun.
c) No powergaming
Powergaming is forcing your actions on a other player, as example, you are in a fight fight and you basically /me that the person gets punched and has a bleeding nose, you can't do that. You attempt to make a punch, and you wait for the player to respond.
d) No spam
Pretty obvious, we consider spam to be more then 3 unecessary messages within a short timespan.
e) No communication between characters
This is to ensure RolePlay quality and prevent unecessary/annoying events. So that you may charswitch from your Schutze to your Leutnant and say "A schutze told me you've been bullying him, prepare to get demoted" or anything like that, the communication should go from character to character in a realistic way.
f) No cheating
Pretty obvious
g) No threatening
Death threads, DOS threats, all of those go into the bin, so a permanent ban, unless said in a obvious joking manner.
h) Avoiding RP
Which is leaving a RP situation without permission of a staff member or the players you are RP'ing with.
i) Any form of minging
Mingegrabbing, mingejumping, all of those are pretty obvious to people who have RolePlayed before, don't do these things, it's bannable.
j) No special knowledge without SA+ authorisation
You're German and you know Russian? What a suprise, you must be the only one of the 8 million Wehrmacht soldiers, make sure you get your "specials" authorised by a SA, to make sure you aren't a Russian-speaking 2M badass Fritz who has been to jail twice and had eaten two Jews raw.
2) Joining the server
In order to join the server you must make a character sheet for the character you wish to play. You need this character sheet, if we find characters on the servers without character sheets on the server you will be asked to make a character sheet. If this request is ignored then you will be asked to remove the character or to leave the server.
3) Rules of engagement
a) S2W is allowed from a distance, however, you must warn in OOC that you are opening fire on a group of people, or you PM them. If they have responded and are ready to RP, you are allowed to open fire on them. This way they won't end up being AFK and get shot through the arm and come back bleeding half to death. During combat, they will be able to RP and from there the S2M/S2W will continue. If you come up close, you will be able to S2RP. Grenades are disallowed in the game, to make sure people don't S2K, grenades have a large explosion radius and will even damage props.
b) Spies aren't allowed, you can't dress up as a enemy soldier and walk into the base to kill the general of the enemy to then make a fun escape. This will only be available in special events or with authorisation of the HSA+.
